Overview

As of July 30, 2026, you can test capabilities that are part of the new Stack Internal platform experience launching later in 2026.

The platform connects to your existing Stack Internal community site. It continually ingests, curates, and verifies trustworthy knowledge as work happens. This gives your community a reusable memory that helps improve AI reliability and helps teams deliver work faster.

Core capabilities

• Stack Internal community, Google Docs, and Slack connectors Automatically and persistently ingest and store critical context from distributed tools to create a living memory for your organization. Connectors support organization-wide view access and public channels only.
• Chat interface, MCP server, and API Use the chat interface to ask questions, get help from experts, and find information with trust labels. The MCP server and API help AI agents retrieve context wherever work happens.
• Trust system and response-level confidence labels Knowledge includes its source, author, and trustworthiness. Trust labels and signals in the chat interface help people and AI agents act on validated knowledge.
• Subject matter expert auto-detection, management, and validation routing (coming soon) When the platform finds a critical knowledge gap, your team and AI agents can trigger a subject matter expert validation workflow in Slack. New answers and updates become reusable for future contributors and consumers.
• Role-based permissions Identity-aware data boundaries apply across all surfaces. This helps reduce security risks and ensures people and AI agents access only the information they should.
• Adoption and engagement analytics View how knowledge is used through the API, including submitted questions and helpful answers. Additional analytics are coming soon.
